TALES OF THE ABYSS CHARACTER PROFILE PT.3: GUY CECIL (Gailardia Galan Gardios)

 

GUY CECIL : CHARACTER PROFILE

Hi! I am going to simply Outline how Guy characters are and how his characteristics are developed as the game progresses.

 Quick Description

Guy Cecil a.k.a Gailardia Galan Gardios (Malkuth origin now, but former Hod origin) is the younger brother of Mary Gardios, the son of Eugenie Cecille (Kimlascan) who was sent by Duke Fabre (Luke's dad) to infiltrate Hod. Guy appeared initially as sword practice partner + close pal to Luke Fon Fabre.

Surprisingly, Guy was a noble once before Luke Fon Fabre and his House of Fabre. Guy took refuge in St.Binah after Hod fell into destruction, and was found by Pere (Luke's gardener) under mountains of dead bodies after Duke Fabre army killed the whole family. Long after that horror, Guy changed his name then served for the House of Fabre after the Hod was long over.

Personality

Guy has always been cheerful, optimistic, and friendly to everyone he just first met. Luke is his first and bst buddy, a servant and good friend to Natalia L.K Lanvaldear (LUZU-KIMLASCA LANVALDEAR), just a travelling pal to Anise Tatlin, a fellow citizen of Malkuth to Jade Curtiss, then Master to Van Grants serving as Guardian to House of Gardios.

In Battle

Guy is  a fighter with one sword, and he is good as vanguard position with physical-based base and arcane artes (P.ATK) PLUS HIGH AGILITY, so he is your favorite character if you only want to fight like HIT & RUN. Sadly, no fonic artes are available to him. Good news, he has Center artes that allows self-heal in moderate amount + his artes transition is quick, so you can hit and run before your enemies counter attack them.

EARLY GAME

Guy is IDEAL over average cool knight, good-looking, and dashing gentleman. Well, he can be incredibly patient for silly things or ignorant person. Due to his trauma, he can barely get close to woman every time he is nearby them. Plus, he is loyal to Luke as friend for life since they have shared memorable memories together  compared to his relationship with Asch. 

In serious mode, he is totally dedicated and responsive to his surroundings (SELFLESS), for instance Akzeriuth / St. Binah Collapse cases (very mature type indeed)

In brief

I LIVE WITH LOYAL PRINCIPLE, I WILL NEVER LEAVE MY BEST FRIEND, SHARE SMILE TO EVERYONE, BE OPTIMISTIC, AND LET'S GET ALONG TOGETHER.

MID- END GAME

Guy never left his best pal regardless of how awful his doing could be (Akzeriuth collapse), and he was always glad to give second chance for seeing a change. the farther the story progressed, the more personal issues other party members faced (Natalia disapproved as daughter, Anise lost Ion, Tear in dilemma over her brother, Luke tried his best to change), then Guy relentlessly boosted their morale, motivated them that hope did exist.

Aside from his optimistic vibe, he has a fondness of fontech and history. Once he is shown the magic of how fontech works, functions, operates, he will talk non-stop about how far technologies took society to certain degree of advancement, how cool artes can co-exist with technologies, how beautiful when machines are in sync. Also, he is very knowledgeable about history of a city as every city has its own landmark to share. Hence, Guy is all capable character you always expect to be perfect.

TALES OF THE ABYSS CHARACTER PROFILE PT.5: Anise Tatlin

  Anise Tatlin : CHARACTER PROFILE Hi! I am going to simply Outline how Anise characters are and how her characteristics are developed as the game progresses. Quick description Anise Tatlin (Daath origin) is the only child to Pamela and Oliver. Her childhood is not much of a story as she is merely a regular little kid. She appeared initially as a Fon Master Guardian and was accompained by Colonel Jade Curtiss. Her task is in charge of guarding ION (the head of Daath state as well as Order of Lorelei). Despite her young looks, she was already a grown-up child with wealth of insights over order of lorelei, six-god generals, economy. This is proven by her opinions in several topics on why god generals tried to kidnap ION and frequent Oracle Knights attacks. Apparently, Anise spent most of her childhood training, studying, and serving for the Order of Lorelei, especially, the Order's military (Oracle Knights). Her parents were devoted members of Order of Lorelei much like church staffs...

  Today!! We'll continue to go over the profile for Kimlasca Lanvaldear as well as a hint of Eldrant's background. Some captures I have here will give you all a hint on history, culture, fun facts about Kimlasca & Eldrant record AHA! Now we know why and how Kimlasca is located between coast and land. The fallen fonstone created a crater that provided great depth to be explored and exploited as a foundation of building Kimlasca Kingdom. (You know now why there is need for elevator from ground to top level). See what I told you ? the higher Kimlasca grew up the greater the need was for sustaining the environment, especially sunlight.
